In Loving Memory of Danny LongoriaForever in our hearts, our thoughts and in our prayers.

Jan.19,1958 - Dec.24, 2002

On December 24th, 2002, Danny’s life was tragically taken as the result of a car accident on I-25 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Danny was only 44 years old. He leaves behind family and friends that think of him and miss him tremendously.

Danny had the most amazing smile. It was warm, genuine and comforting. It didn’t matter what was happening in our lives, Danny only had to smile and we always felt better. Danny loved his family very much and we love him. He sacrificed constantly to help anyone in need, family or friend. He never put himself first.

The purpose of Danny’s website is to give family and friends a place to visit when thinking of him. We have included pictures of his funeral, although difficult to view, they remind us of the support we received from so many people and of the love they had for Danny. There are also pictures of happy times in Danny’s life. These help us get through each new day. Danny still makes us laugh and smile. In these pictures Danny is always smiling at us. This is how Danny would have wanted us to remember him.

This is for Danny’s parents. The agony of losing their only son will be with them always. Every day is a struggle as they try to carry on with their lives without their son.

It’s for Danny’s sisters. Life without our only brother has been painful and difficult. We are determined to keep his memory alive and we will protect his memory, the way he always protected us. He lives on in our hearts and in our smiles.

This is for Joshua; The light of Danny’s life. Danny loved his son so much. We hope someone will help him look at this site and talk about his wonderful Dad with him.

It’s for Danny’s nieces and nephews. He inspired, supported and encouraged them constantly to do their best and to dream big.

This site is for Danny’s brothers’ in law who love him more than even they realized. They now comfort his sisters and parents. They mourn quietly and stay strong somehow.

It’s for Danny’s aunts, uncles, cousins and so many other relatives that Danny loved.

This site is for Danny’s friends. He comforted, cared for and listened to without ever judging them.

Most of all, this site is for Danny. He brought so much happiness and love to so many. Danny was, and still is in many ways, our family’s peacekeeper. He curbed any argument or misunderstanding by smiling and saying "It’s ok." or "It’ll be alright". And then he would laugh that funny giggle or Scooby-Doo snicker. He would then flash that smile and somehow it was all right.

For Danny, our Peacekeeper and Protector.
